The process

From enquiry to online in a single morning.

Six straightforward steps. No contracts to sign, no installer to wait for, no setup fees. Pick a date, collect, plug in.
  1. Choose your kit

Pick Standard or Unlimited based on how much data the trip needs. Both come with the same physical kit.

  2. Email us your dates

Send a quick enquiry with your dates and pickup window. We reply within an hour during business hours.

  3. Collect from Cloverdale

Pick up the pre-configured kit from our Perth depot, 5 minutes from the airport. We walk you through the setup.

  4. Online in 5 minutes

Unbox, point at the open sky, plug in. Most renters are connected before the kettle boils.

  5. Use it anywhere with open sky

Stream, call, work, navigate, wherever the dish has a clear view of the sky.

  6. Drop it back, bond refunded

Return the kit in working order and your $300 bond comes back in full. No paperwork drama.

What's included

The complete kit, every time.

One bag, six items, zero shopping list. Whichever plan you pick, you get the full bundle, no add-on charges for cables, adapters, or the transport bag.
  • Starlink Mini antenna

Compact, fast, ready to point at the sky. Same hardware whichever plan you pick.

  • 15 m power cable

Long enough to set the dish well clear of your camp, vehicle, or campsite trees.

  • 240V mains adapter

Plug straight into a caravan, RV, or any standard powerpoint when you're on the grid.

  • 12 / 24V cigarette lighter cable

Run the dish off your car, 4WD, or battery bank when there's no mains power available.

  • 3 m short cable

For tight setups where the long run isn't needed, keeps things tidy.

  • Transport bag

Everything packs back into a single bag for the drive home or the flight back.

Optional add-ons

Solar blankets and battery-powered chargers are available on the Unlimited plan for an additional fee, handy for fully off-grid stints where mains power isn't an option. Mention them when you enquire.

Please read · power matters

The Starlink Mini only runs on clean, uninterrupted power. The supplied 12/24V cigarette lighter cable works in plenty of vehicles, but many car and caravan 12V systems sag and spike as other gear draws on them, and a standard cigarette lighter socket often can't hold the steady voltage the dish needs to boot up or stay online. For reliable use, feed it from a 12V outlet wired straight to a control box or power station that delivers constant output, or run the 240V adapter through an inverter or mains power. A hire that wouldn't connect because the dish was given an unstable power source isn't something we can refund, so if you're in any doubt, just come and collect the dish with your camping setup or your rig and we'll test everything together before you head off.
